Cory Booker (D-NJ) lashed out at Adam Candeub, President Trump's nominee to be assistant antitrust attorney general for the Justice Department, during Wednesday's Senate Judiciary Committee confirmation hearing. The senator asked Candeub, who serves as the FCC's general counsel, for a yes-or-no answer on whether former President Joe Biden won the 2020 election, to which Candeub replied, “The United States Congress certified Joseph Biden." "Sir, you are showing cowardice," Sen. Booker said when Candeub repeated his answer. "And that's the question. Are you going to choose the truth or Trump? Law or his lies?"
