I’ve watched half of Sterling Point episode one and it seems super cheesy with poor acting. I’m supposed to believe that she gets on a plane not knowing how far Canada is and then also doesn’t know Sterling Point is an island? Do I just need to stick with it?! No shade to anyone who enjoys it, I just usually want to be hooked from the beginning

I am loving the way Sterling Point is showing the beauty of Ontario Canada cottage country. I grew up in cottage country so it makes me feel good. I *did* find the tone a little confusing. I will definitely watch the whole show. I’m so happy that Ted Lasso is back.

Sterling Point needed at least twelve episodes though ideally it would have followed the 22 episode format. It’s got great foundations, the acting is good, the conversations all feel very real, but things are happening too quickly, relationships are underdeveloped, characters are underdeveloped and some feel really inconsistent and it’s a little predictable. Will I still be locking in when it inevitably gets picked up for s2? Ofc but I hope prime wises up and picks it up for more episodes
