i like calling the pilot/subsequent media before the official show as “second-tier canon,” meaning anything that isn’t explicitly changed or confirmed in the show is a form of canon (especially since chaggi and alastor have worn their pilot outfits in flashbacks!) so seeing this comic made canon/edited to canon would be so sick

personally I think ep 1 will be Lilith arriving at the hotel and setting up the morningstar family and that would be episode 2 but like ep 1 and 2 of season 2 it takes place at the same time
