Listen to me! I just got a Lexus LS 430 in near perfect condition. So I decided to get this exact stuff to put on my door seals. But I messed up. I put it on with my fingers liberally and left it on so it would soak in. It did soak in! Too much and made the weather stripping swell up. Now I have wind noise. You're supposed to put it on and wipe it off. Don't be a dumbass like me and leave it on. I read that I can apply heat with a heat gun. It will supposedly make the rubber shrink back to original. I haven't done it yet so I don't know.

Silicon paste. Little expensive though. Use it for suspension bushings too

prob a silicone based lube. used it on o-rings for swimming pool pumps and is currently keeping my headlights waterproof. silicone based stuff doesn't rot rubber, as opposed to something petroleum based like Vaseline
