What?? There’s a difference between finding his character development interesting vs rooting for him. I think his character is one of the most interesting in s3 so far and very nicely written and acted, but in no way i am rooting for him, at the end of the day he is still a usurper

he is the "worst king" because the writers made him that way in the show. Aegon was never a good person, but in the show they tried making him monstruos and worse than he ever is, but then in season 2 they did not follow through with it, which leads to season 3 now.
