I retired early during Covid and shortly afterwards my dad’s health began to decline (Parkinson’s). Then it was my dad’s sister who was disabled. I sort of went from one loved one to another. And now, for the last few years it’s my husband. So, I guess it’s been a blessing to not have to work and juggle real life responsibilities. But it’s not easy. I just ask God to show me how to help and to give me strength to face everything and also to help me face whatever I need to face. More of Him, more of them, less of me is my prayer 🙏🏼

I will be 67 on September 8th. I just retired July 1st ... I'm looking fwd to enjoying my own time!! I joined our local Y the other day & just looking forward to this adventure with more time for myself, my 2 daughters & 6 grandchildren!! I'm looking forward to reading books, more crocheting, word puzzles, etc!!

I retired 4 years ago to watch our surprise grandbaby. I’ve been watching since my daughter went back to work. We moved a year after and I drive an hour two days a week to watch him. One more year till he starts school. He’s been a fun little guy to watch.

I’m retired but still I work part time and I watch my grands at least once a week for my daughter and my son every now and again because he lives a little further away.
