Wilson redesigned the heel insert to increase flexibility during break-in, not to make it feel cheap. ❓Does it feel different out of the box? ➡️ Very little. Side by side, the 2026 and 2027 gloves feel remarkably similar when they're brand new. ❓Does this affect every 2027 Wilson glove? ➡️ No. The new Flex Insert is only found on most 2027 A2000 fielding gloves. It is not included on catcher's mitts, first base mitts, or Game Model A2000s. The Flex Liner is exclusive to Pedroia Fit and Fastpitch A2000s. ❓Does it still feel like an A2000? ➡️ Yes.
