As someone who does work at a Hot Topic I hate when people misunderstand that idea of the store. It’s literally in the name. Hot topic is meant to keep up with alternative, pop culture trends. Not to mention we still do in fact sell alternative clothing, Y2K punk/grunge/emo/scene clothing and plenty of band t-shirts. The store never changed it just adapted to modern culture because that’s the whole point of the store and the reason why it’s been so successful amongst other mall stores.
