Hi, if the child born outside the UK and now have ILR on the private route coz parents are on 10 yrs route. Can we apply MN1 application for child before child turn 18. He got the ILR on 3rd Nov 2025, child will be turning 18 on 31/10/2026. Or do we have to wait for complete 12 months and then apply. Child came to UK on 2011 since then never been outside the country and none of the parents have ILR or British citizenship. Many Thanks

Thank u for being helpful. I have 1 unque question since that person is not allowed use public fund also not intended to do. However, my partner is forced to use public fund she is u23 and the college told her she doesnt need pay even after we have made it clear with them due to her age. What do we do to be safe

Thank you so much for the information as always just a quick question. We had the extension approved on a five-year route now when it comes to ILR do we still have to be the finance as well? SAME AS APPLIED FOR THE EXTENSION TO APPLY FOR ALR OR IS IT SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT?

@Mr&Mrs ACHILONU: I just applied for a spouse visa but I am worried and having anxiety. I applied under adequate maintenance. My wife receives pip of 306 monthly and I have a cash savings of 42k pounds evidenced through a sale of property owned by me with documents to prove. However I am worried because my wife’s pip letter is dated till September 7 and she lives with me here in Nigeria. We intend to return to the uk together. My wife has kids aged 4, 5,7, 16,17. And they’re all uk citizens. She was awarded pip because of her mental health. Can our application also be considered under article 8 of ECHR? As the kids father has tried to reduce her contact with her kids. He only permits her to talk to the kids twice a week on the phone whereas it used to be a daily contact. This has affected her mental health. We also intend to return fast because she’s been in Nigeria with me for over 6months which isn’t safe for her as she’s a white British citizen who stands risks of kidnapping etc. Will article 8 help our application?
