I have experienced this, now my mom wants to do it to my sister's she genuinely thinks it's not a bad thing, my cramps are so severe now and I just literally can't like walk it's that bad, I never even knew it was a bad thing till I learned it's like a taboo and ppl think it's gross, I was so embarassing and now anytime I tell someone they look at me disgusted so I stopped talking about it, it's so shameful
