My son was approached at school in 2012 to join the Marine Corps. by a recruiter. He was seventeen at the time. He was promised free education and to travel overseas. Against my wishes he joined. I ignorantly signed for him so that he had the chance to have a job besides being on the front lines. He was stationed overseas to Okinawa, Japan. I got a knock on my door the morning of July 14, 2013, which was his younger brother’s eighteenth birthday and oldest brothers wedding anniversary. He was found dead. Fast forward to a few days after burying him. I got a phone call from a Sergeant telling me that NCIS had a GAG order on the investigation surrounding his death. I was told that we should have brought him home and had our own autopsy done. There were unanswered questions. What we were told did not add up. Fast forward to 2024. My husband and I were watching the show Quantico on Netflix. In the particular episode we were watching there were three Marines stationed in three different places. All supposedly died the exact same way that we were told our son died. In the show there was a cover up that ended up being exposed. We have left it alone because the Lord has told us that He is in control and to let Him handle it. That’s been difficult but we have been obedient. We don’t know details but my mama heart tells me that there was indeed a sacrifice involved. I am here to tell every parent to not persuade your babies to ever join. The military complex is demonic. Our children go in innocently hoping to better our country or themselves but they have no idea how wicked it is on the inside. Once they sign, they are owned, shipped off and treated like garbage. I highly oppose anyone joining.

i lost both my jobs two weeks ago still haven’t found a new one and i went to the army recruiter 4 days ago.. is this a sign not to join. my other option if i don’t find a job soon is to be homeless. i’m so tired of participating in capitalism and working our whole life
