There’s such a difference in appreciation and appropriation. Calling something a trend and adding buzzwords to it like “candied” that has been a cultural tradition for thousands of years is not appreciation. I always love your videos and thank you for sharing.

Calling candied salmon a 'new trend' and telling an Indigenous person they are wrong about their own heritage is deeply disrespectful. Indigenous peoples in the Pacific Northwest and Arctic regions have been curing, smoking, and glazing fish (like the Inuit practice of pitsik) for thousands of years to preserve it.
