You don't read to retain, you read to understand. you must not try to retain what you read immediately after reading. That's not the right approach. Read to understand. The era of cram work has passed. There is a change is paradigm which is understanding and not memorizing.

Reading to retain without understand what has been read is very risky. sometimes in a exam, you might forget a word, and then every other has gone out of your brain. but when you read to understand, is not necessary you give the lecturer what he or she gave you. what do you think. pls tag me in your video
