my mil tried strongly suggesting I bottle feed because she couldn't breast feed and she wanted to bond with the baby. I asked if she was going to pay for the formula, she didn't and I bf for at least 6 months with both my kids🤣 she hardly saw my kids anyway unless it was us driving the 40 min.
