I'm taking my breakup really hard. we were together for 4 years and about 2 weeks ago she left me. She was my best friend, love of my life, and roommate. I'm struggling every day not to think about her to much or I will throw up in some different emotion of pain.

i got diagnosed with depression last week. i realized that i’ve had it my whole life. i don’t know how to tell the people close me because everyone sees me as a happy, fun person. everyone i know refers to me in some way as sunshine or the sun. i’m worried opening up will change that perception and ruin the positive image they have of me.

I remember thinking that after the age of 18 my life would be over. Just blank page. No nothing just over. Then after a near death experience a huge perspective change just happened and since then my appreciation for the smaller moments of peace in every day are worth living for. Even just a few years later my life is completely different with beautiful people for whom Id lift the world if they asked

i recently got drunk and ended up walking around my city with a friend and i don’t recall what i said or how sad or happy i sounded but at some point she told me she never saw me smile, and i remember just regaining my awareness and sobering up realising how shitty everything felt all the time, i needed to learn to smile and cry again i needed to live again
