@gracenewlands_: Tips for the Kain Hut Trail to Applebee Campground 4.9km one way | 989m elevation 📍Getting there: Google Maps can be a little misleading. Don’t take any diversion routes or shortcuts—it may send you down a logging road that leads nowhere. Stick to the main road all the way to the trailhead. 🦔 Bring chicken wire: The porcupines in the area love chewing tyres and brake lines, so wrapping your vehicle is highly recommended. 🥾 Hiking poles: Not essential, but they’re definitely nice to have for a couple of sections. 🌷What to expect: Wildflower meadows, glacier views, a ladder climb, and a few fun scrambling sections. The views are incredible the entire way, making every step worth it. If you’re looking for an unforgettable overnight hike, this one is hard to beat. #alltrails #explorealberta #bcparks
