As an EMT please don't do this because if you get in a wreck everything becomes a projectile and imagine you are dealing with the impact of a crash then now you have hot wax burning into your skin while you're possibly trapped in a car.

Don’t do this. I accidentally left a gifted BBW candle in my back seat for a week in the summer and it tipped and my car took several years to not smell like bergamot anymore. I probably just got used to it, tbh
