I thought this was universal : Bridesmaid's dresses, accessories, jewelry, hair and makeup paid by the bride Bachelorette paid by the bridesmaids split among them Bridal shower paid by the groom or family

in my country, the bride pays for ALL the expenses of MOH and bridesmaids. dress, shoes, makup everything. and gets gifts for them. moh and bridesmaids do the bachelorettes / bride to be parties and give a gift to the bride. that's it

Here in Ireland we pay for bridesmaids everything dresses, hair, makeup, shoes and jewellery we are asking them to do us a favour. They usually organise and pay for the baclorette

I really hope she doesn’t see this post. Wow. You trashed every single thing. She probably realized good was crap too etc. you didn’t have to send her the 100$🤷🏽♀️. I get the frustration but holy 🤦🏽♀️

I paid $100 towards each of my bridesmaids dresses, they were all different dresses and different prices, but none over $200. My bachelorette, each person attending put in some money and it as at my friends house with stuff to do manicures and pedicures with cocktails and nibbles. Then we went to the pub and met up with my husbands bachelor group. My husband and I paid for our own drinks and dinner. We asked for no presents but had a wishing well in case anyone wanted to contribute to our honeymoon fund. Weddings get out of hand so often, but mine was a pretty good representation of all of the weddings I’ve been to or been part of.
