It’s not optional. All vendors I’ve used have it in their contract and if not they get an hour to eat

i would do it but i also get her logic like my employers dont bring me food. if the venue has a fridge/microwave and a place to eat i think thatd be enough

Most legitimate wedding vendors build a meal into the contract for the couple. So at least this venue is making it easy for them.

it's not optional. most wedding vendors have it in the contract where they have to be provided a meal. now it doesn't have to be the same meal as everybody else. but it is a meal that is needed

Many vendors even stipulate that it has to be a hot meal. So they don’t end up with a gross tuna sandwich.

your entitled to not provide them food. however, don't complain when they are not available to take pictures, cater, provide music etc, at any given hour. they are not your slaves for the next 24 hours. so if you want them to stick around for that long, specially the photographers make sure they are happy and want to stick it out for you

Ewwww. I fed my vendors. They had their own table and could eat whenever they wanted. They were also welcome to have cake as well.

I had a BBQ and asked the vendors to take a break and grab some food because none of us wanted photos or videos taken of us whilst eating 😂

for those who need it spelled out: less than 4 hours, no need to feed them over 4 to 8 hours, they get a full "hour" break and a hot sit down meal over 8 hours they get 90 minutes, You can break them into 15/15/45/45, 30/30/30, 15/60/15.... and a hot meal. Best place to put them your very last table INSIDE your event

I had a table for my vendors so they could sit, relax and eat. My photographer, who not long before that was taking pictures of the party, walked over to where my DJ was sitting and loudly yelled at her for sitting with the bridal party. She was one of my bridesmaids and gifted me her DJ (opened her own company) services for my wedding. The way she snapped back was epic.
