I guess I’m the only one who does this.. I caulk perimeter of bathroom or kitchen on subfloor. Then install my flooring then caulk finished flooring

I hate laminate and vinyl flooring. It’s a temporary fix, not a real floor. Use tile instead. Or hardwood.

With LVP, ensure your flooring is level or it’s just going to crack where it locks in the first couple times you walk on it

So I had a guy I bought flooring off of that said the moisture barrier is the biggest scam in flooring. I’m laying LVP onto concrete so it’s not really a big deal at all, but it does have a barrier under it anyway. Just thought I’d gauge the comment section’s expertise on this thought of the moisture barrier being a scam. And go.

you might add one more thing you got to make sure the floor is level I used in my bathroom liquid leveler you pour it. it levels itself when it dries. it's like concrete and it also seals the floor
