No problem with e collars but walking 7 decent sized dogs off lead in public is just pure crazy.

That is nonsense, just because a method is new doesn’t make it better. You can absolutely achieve 100% recall without using e-collars.

I have just had my rottie and spaniel e collar trained I wish I had done it earlier. My walks are so much more enjoyable I’m not on edge all the time waiting for one of them to disappear or react to something they don’t like

I always thought that an e collar was an electric shock collar, How wrong was i? a total novis! I local trainer came into my shop with a dog wearing one and I put it on my own wrist and tested it, no pain what so ever infavt it was more like when a neurologist checks your reflexes, no pain, no feel just naturally makes your body move naturally, I can't believe how wrong I was I

I have 1 vizsla and 2 vizsla x GSP very very high prey drive. Have never had to use an e - collar for any of them (and never would) the answer people don’t want to hear is you need to be consistent with your training and very patient. It took at least 3 and a half years before my Vizsla X GSP could control their pray drive but all worth it. I never had to zap them with an e - collar.
