I’m a major hypochondriac because same stroke recovery 3 years and I was 21 years old it’s like you feel like if something crazy would happen it’ll happen to me always it’s very stressful. Health anxiety at its max totally understandable for you

Hemochromatosis??? Also to be fair to your health anxiety, I think any person who’s had a stroke (especially young!!) would be very worried about things afterward. Always better to be safe than sorry

They wouldn't care about those unfortunately at the er where I am, my labs are horrible. My ferritin is also extremely high but the er doesn't do anything about it, they send you to a specialist here and I always feel like I'm dying. I also have multiple autoimmune diseases and heart problems 😭

My labs were messed up this time too, I had to have them redone and they were supposed to call me yesterday but the if phones were down and so they didn’t call me 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️I’m a bit of a hypo too but when bad things happen to you when you’re young everything is scary! Many prayers friend.

My ferritin was high for a year and a half but it’s because of systemic inflammation and chronic illness. It stressed me ouuuuut. But I have been doing everything I can 🖤

Too much iron in your body. You may have hemochromatosis. Ask your doctor

Have you seen a Rheumatologist? High Ferretin can be a sign of Adult Onset Stills Disease. However, a Rheumatologist is the one who would look at your labs and your body to see what fits.

Do what your gut tells you to do also you making the decision after you got your results to go to the hospital was a good decision. I would have done the same thing, but it’s a really good thing to be cautious to get to the root of your prognosis and find out what’s going on. Keep us updated but I hope that everything works out and you have that piece of mind.
