Well considering the city of Calgary fire department has their divers train there… I think it’s plenty safe lol. They’re just mad they don’t get a cut of the business taxes because it’s in Rocky view county

If they own the land and there paying the tax’s they have every right to tell them to leave. Not sure how it’s gone on this long. And comparing it to the other side like really? Those houses own that land, the marina doesn’t.

close it down people will destroy it.....go look at many of the parks around calgary on the river people bathing and playing in glenmore reservoir many people dont care about public space

well they're is a definite difference btwn environmental safety and personal safety...Pretty.sure drowing is less likely in a power boat than it is on a paddle board or kids playing on a tube with poor swimming skills and no lifeguard

literally was there this past weekend but they closed due to heavy winds but honestly if they're gonna shut it down they should be more concerned about cn trains stopping rigjt in the middle of the trail. Everyone and myself, even cyclists and families were going over the train cause it was just standstill for so long with no police/cn worker escort to assist the public
