My situation is a bit different because I came into the relationship with my son. We do separate accounts and send $ for shared bills like the rent & utilities. I pay for of all my son’s needs and expenses myself. Your take is so refreshing when creators are promoting the trad wife idea. I’d rather work and pay my own way & I’ve seen too many women experience financial abuse to not have my own $.

Shared account savings and checking for 18 years. Not one fight over money , we buy what we want to buy. Zero issues zero fights. There isn’t time to argue or worry for paper and silver coins. Enjoy life. Cheers

I think whatever works for 2 people is good. And if the bills are paid in the home and savings then no issue. Yes they say money is one of the top reason that couple argue/divorce in this country.

My husband and I also do this :) but we DO have a shared savings account we made to save up for our future land purchase. I like being able to buy him gifts he truly didn’t pay for and doesn’t know about.
