The Arab conquests weren't colonization. They're just empire building like Rome and Persia before them and the Mongols after them, and they all had slaves. I don't get why the Arab conquests exclusively get anachronistically labeled as colonization.

European colonizers and Arab colonizers were very different. I’m from India and under European colonization a lot of countries not just India. Their wealth was extracted and the people did not benefit in any shape versus the Arab colonizations. You could say the area prosper the wealth or at least at least the wealth wasn’t taken from the land and shipped overseas.
