@skyla.elizabeth: Yesterday 08/04/2026 I was assaulted/robbed by a man in broad daylight, as i was waiting for the bus to go home. This guy had been following me since I had left the gym, to my bus stop, he looked at me face to face, eye to eye, and i continued on with my own not knowing that I would never make it on my bus because he robbed me. This person followed, stood next to me, walked past me and then decided to put his hoodie on and a ski mask to YANK MY GOLD NECKLACES OFF MY NECK. This happened in downtown la on 6th and flower street. A police report was made, he was not found and my necklaces will never be recovered, i don’t care about the material it’s about the trauma left in me and the fear of being out alone or ever waiting for the bus again. I bring this story to the internet to bring awareness to my situation and many others who have experienced something like this before, to know that you aren’t alone and i’m sorry if this ever happened to you. and if you are someone who is constantly around 7 and fig downtown LA please be careful, trust your gut, and be aware of who’s around you.
