I wish I could just get the "good" mania. Confidence, energy, decision making, wanting to leave my house and do fun stuff.

I wish they would have told me before I was 16, so I would actually get the support I needed and now I feel like am cooked cuase am 17 now and have only this year to basically get my life in order to become an adult 😭 and also what it actually ment. they deadass gave me the diagnosis and that's was that, a little piece of paper. I still don't have a clue how it affects me, and I have schiziod personality disorder, ADHD and borderline personality traits.... I have no clue how they work together, or how to be successful with them🫩

I can't, after 9 years from my diagnosis, see myself doing a job outside the house. I'm grateful everyday to be able to be a housewife but I'm genuinely concerned because I struggled so SO much even for part times and had to leave them all in the past 9 years...

I wish someone would have told me its not the end of the world, that you can lead a hapoy normal life and still do your dreams. Until recently (been through a lot recently) I treated it like I was in prison.

I will 100% cry when my hypomanic episodes end. The depression is so horrendously deep and the hypomania feels so amazingly good

I have so much trouble making friends- can't tell anyone I'm bipolar- so, you already are secretive in this - I had to hide it - which is stressful- people still stay away from those that have mental illness- making relationships very difficult- even my sister doesn't understand my issues/ makes me feel isolated, more depressed

I wish someone had told me 22 years ago: Your diagnosis is not the end of your story. It’s the beginning of learning how to live your life differently.

i know what i have, when, what to do or not. and still relaps1ng on alc and 0d of My medications (not as much as a few months ago, and not that strong) With the previous psychiatrist I could maintain control, but with the new I can't, and i have she due to financial reasons. I have no one to ask for help in serious episodes, or psychosis, only myself.
