@bassforge.us: That was a dirty trick.. sorry 😇 Pikillaqta is one of the most interesting ancient ruins I’ve come actross. It’s one of the largest and best-preserved pre-Inca cities in Peru. Built by the Wari civilization between the 6th and 10th centuries AD, the site covers more than 50 hectares and features an astonishingly precise grid of straight streets, rectangular compounds, and towering stone walls. Long before the rise of the Inca Empire, it served as a major administrative and ceremonial center, showcasing a level of urban planning that was centuries ahead of its time. The weird part is its design. Functionally we have no idea what it was for, there are no windows and very few doors. Many think it was used for storage but there is no explanation for how anyone would easily get things in and out of it. Theres also the layout. From above it has perfect geometry, which would have had to have been projected from above to work on terrain that wasn’t leveled or prepped.
