I spent almost an hour locked in a bathroom stall hyperventilating because one of the teachers was blasting a ww2 movie full of gunshots and screams with their room door open and I was convinced we were having a school shooting and I was going to die. No one should have this fear be ingrained into them at such a young age.

Yall saying this is sad and stuff. no it fucking isn’t. This add is a reminder of what the true world is like and you always have to be aware and prepared for it. You can’t always be oblivious, you have to be aware. If you can’t handle a daily reminder of what the real world is like and the real threat it can be, then go watch a real back to school ad. Stay aware, and disciplined.

I was involved in a shooting once, it was horrifying. Back in 7th grade we had this kid named, Marcus (calling him Marcus because I can’t say his name) He was the quiet kid, nobody really bullied him it just seemed as tho he was loosing his mind. Finally one day the lockdown alarms went off, I prayed it was a drill, it wasn’t. He was firing into the classrooms, groups of kids, anywhere he could. I took a chair and smashed the window while my hb had put down his jacket so we could climb out. As we were trying to get out I still remember hearing Marcus trying to kick the door down. Just as he did 4 SWAT officers tackled him. I’m still traumatized
