Twirlygirl 🌲☕️🥾 :
The idea that a woman’s one job in a marriage is to provide sex completely misses how healthy relationships actually work.
If you promise to clean the garage and a year later it’s still sitting there… if you promise to take her out on Saturday and instead spend the day on the couch… if she spends her time taking care of the house and you walk in and leave a trail of mess behind you… if you repeatedly break your word, stop putting effort into the relationship, and expect her to carry the mental and physical load…
Don’t act shocked when intimacy starts to disappear.
Physical intimacy doesn’t exist in a vacuum. For many women, it’s connected to feeling loved, respected, valued, and like they’re in a real partnership.
You cannot neglect your relationship, become emotionally unavailable, repeatedly disappoint your spouse, or treat her like an afterthought, and then reduce the problem to, “Her job is to provide sex.”
A lot of men don’t lose their marriages because they stopped having sex. They lose them because they got comfortable, stopped investing in the relationship, and expected intimacy to survive on autopilot.
