@cybersecuredad: Smart glasses just went mainstream: Meta's sold over 7 million pairs, with Google and Apple right behind. Here's the reality. These may look like ordinary glasses, but many carry a camera, a mic, and an AI assistant. ⚠️ Harvard students paired a set with facial recognition and matched strangers' faces to names, addresses, and phone numbers in seconds. Even Instagram's own head said the platform will remove videos where people are secretly filmed and harassed using these. If you own a pair: Meta turned AI on by default, and voice recordings can sit in its cloud for up to a year with no clean opt out. Learn the sign. On Meta's frames, watch for the small white light near the right temple. Lit means the camera's live. Seven million pairs isn't niche. Send this to someone who has no idea these are already out there. Follow CybersecureDad for cybersecurity made simple. 👀 #smartglasses #metaglasses #privacytips #facialrecognition #digitalprivacy
