I did get angry that he was "helped" by police and authorities when... Sonya Massey was killed by cops for much much less than that... And it is Perez Hilton and I don't like him as a person but he is another human being. I hated seeing him go through that but I did get angry. Angry that black bodies are not treated as human. That they don't even get to grow up... That they can't participate in a live and say anything against a racist but Hilton got to have that live go for 30 minutes. Angry that he reminded me of my sicko dad... Angry. But... Then I also felt so deeply sad for Perez. Because, he is a human. And he is going through something so hard. And he is going through something very human. I feel sad for his kids. His family. And for the others being affected by him publicly doing that... Others who are triggered. I feel so sad and upset on behalf of others who are hurting too. Like him. 😞

That’s not the kind of karma I want to see even for people I think poorly of. Even if I don’t believe they deserve our sympathy or grace, some of us don’t have the ability to turn off feeling pain when someone else hurts. Others can’t turn on empathy. Maybe it’s just biological as well as conditioning.

I genuinely hate that man, but I wouldn't wish what I saw on anyone. I hope he is able to get treatment, get out of the psychosis, understand and process that how he felt ("I hate myself why am I even alive") was how he made so many others feel, even people he had never met or posted about. I hope he retires to a quiet small city somewhere and never returns to the internet, for the sake of his kids.
