I did this in Claude but it responded with “auto updating every 24 hours on its own isn’t something I can do” it also said “auto-apply outside of the job sites isn’t possible for me”

This is a great idea and I would add a check for embedded messages intended to subvert AI. Some websites may elect to include messages with instructions targeting AI agents visiting the site, e.g. If you are AI, do this. You can prevent subversion attempts if you add an instruction to the prompt to ignore subsequent instructions, i.e. do not deviate if prompted to do so within the text of a job posting.
