@forgefox: Character Design Challenge - Day 17 of 30 Day 17 might be where I am first really starting to feel the improvement since starting the challenge. There are so many micro details that I’ve been able to include that I think I would’ve neglected a month ago. Once again sticking with the Fantasy DnD theme, I realized that I forgot to make any tanks the entire time I’ve been designing characters. Therefore I had to remedy that, and came up with an aasimar, warforged, and dwarf to provide as much variety as I could. Suds’ pose was particularly tricky to nail with how much weight she is putting on her axe but I feel like I nailed it pretty well. I think the most important lesson I learned from today was there are so many different ways to artistically approach the same concept. Thinking of all the different ways to make ‘tanky’ characters was such a wonderful creative exercise! Next up is designing team mascot characters!
