SPOILER ALERT!!!!!! I feel like no one talks about the fact that the recent Spiderman film did hint the fact that Ned is becoming some sort of a “cool boy” persona. Throwing parties, drinking, things we wouldn’t have expected him doing if he were still super besties with Peter. MJ even briefly mentions that he’s “drinking again.” I feel like Ned is still nerdy at heart, but some part of him is now different because of different groups he spent with, and it wasn’t that obvious yet…but I feel like it’s a big set up to him becoming someone that Peter realizes is different from who he knew before (kinda like how Mj is still Mj in Peter’s eyes, but also he eventually realized, she was different now.) Some parts of old Ned were there still shown, but in future movies I can see Peter and Ned disagreeing a lot.
