At least yours has a riser on the cap I have an older CX climb hills and if it's above ad then it pours all over makes a heck of a mess so never above add now. Your fix looks as good as new also!

My 9080 cracked in the same place as well as the seams on the backside.
A new tank was $3500 a few years ago. they actually recommended getting a new one made at Stewart Steel that was stronger

I’ve welded the seam on those oil tanks, works good, just go a little further than you think you need
