@theoregonian: The 39,000-acre and growing Grasshopper fire scorching Mount Hood National Forest has put another historic ski resort on evacuation notice. The nearly 90-year-old Timberline Lodge was placed under a Level 1 (be ready) evacuation notice Tuesday night as firefighters continued to battle easterly winds pushing the fire toward the popular Mount Hood basecamp of Government Camp and other communities along U.S. 26 and U.S. 35, including Rhododendron.
