I wish companies would give you two options - with or without a laptop pocket. I would much rather have more organization options like a second, large zipper pocket!!

the laptop pocket ALWAYS houses my kindle, (note)books, passport/document organizer, random flat items, etc. i love having a separate thin pocket for those things. it’s pretty much a requirement for my backpacks personally

Good ideas! I just wish that I could get back all the space wasted by the padding. I’d rather have a backpack with no padding and when I want to bring a laptop, I have a padded sleeve for it.

I put a book, magazine, souvenirs (I love a post card. if the book is small I'll but my snacks on top of it so they are easily accessible & don't get crushed

Love this content! I put books, down that sleeve and on the top of the backpack(when it was full) to create a sort of shelf. It became a little foot : leg rest for under my feet.
