We use a sod cutter first for the path, it makes it so much easier to level the machine as you're going along, looks nice anyway tho.

I had someone do this for me in Colorado and they did a great job. It was expensive back then but it has lasted over 20 years. It cracked in the seams only and not very visible. Would love to have it done at my new house
