im terified of sticking things not a wash cloth in my ears, because when I was 7ish I was running around the hallway corner as my mom was walking out of the bathroom, with a q tip in her ear. I ran slap into her and she jammed the q tip into her ear drum. We had to take her to the hospital to get it out. She was in so much pain. I felt so bad for MONTHS 😭

my dr said I have the cleanest ears he's ever seen and I can't remember the last time I had an ear infection. I clean them after a shower and stick the q tip in as far as it'll go without hurting and spin it then do it again with the other end. I never get build-up

Anybody ever look at the back of a Q-tip box? It does not recommend for you to put it in your ears. Too many people don’t look at it, and just rely on the history of the habit.
