Can we also address that she said appropriation of art is a good thing? Girl, no. appropriation is taking someone’s art and not giving them proper credit and recognition. Art appreciation acknowledges the original artist, but is no an exact copy of the original work, and allows for the creator to add their own personal twist. She’s literally teaching children it is okay to copy an artist’s work and claim it as their own.
