Should you get an MRI to look at severity of tear and hip joint. Mine happened suddenly and I went to PT first?

I have a hip labral tear confirmed via MRI. I went to a surgeon and he said the tear appears minor and doesn’t think I’m a good candidate for surgery. My pain is a constant 1-2/10 both while active and at rest. PT didn’t help; cortisone injection helped a little; haven’t tried PRP yet. What do you recommend?

With the PRP injecting is it possible to have awake sedation for the injections. I have a massive injection phobia and pass out but I do not pass out “Hollywood smelling salts pretty” I convulse . The sedation keeps me from convulsing. I know it sounds like a silly phobia but injections actually keep me from having treatments because I would rather deal with the pain than the fear of the injection phobia.
