Omg as a hairstylist, we are tired. Your haircut is beautiful. And based on the length/shape is a $90 cut. If you only needed a tiny trim why couldn’t you wait for your hairstylist? Why does she have to explain her process? So you want length and no layers but body as well? May this client never find me

Got charged $140 for this, I did not go in for a haircut, he said I desperately needed a trim and chopped off 9 inches from my top layer. I went in for a blowout. It took over a year to grow back to an acceptable cut. Yes I got a refund, no that didn’t help the situation.

As someone who lived off of tips for over a decade, DO. NOT. TIP. FOR. BAD. SERVICE. Like even if the service is MEDIOCRE I’m giving 20%, but if someone is rude, dismissive, and literally doesn’t even give you what you ask for on top of that (bad service and product) you absolutely should not feel obligated to tip. Especially not 20%. There have been times when I knew I did a bad job for whatever reason, and I was okay with that reflecting in the tip.

I agree that “luxury salon” should come with a luxury experience! Her behavior and professionalism is gross and everyone being fixated on the fact that you said “trim” is really irrelevant. I guarantee you probably would’ve liked your haircut more if you had a better experience

Your cut looks amazing but as a stylist that’s a horrible experience for a upscale salon I work at a upscale salon and if my boss found out one of us gave a experience like this we’d be gone fast- it’s like she wasn’t even listening to you I’m sorry your experience was terrible 🙁
