Happened to me at olive garden. They hired me as a server. I met the main manager and the manager for serving. Did all the paperwork and was told id get a call for orientation. No call came so I called twice. Finally got a call and the manager says" i have no paper trail on you and we're already overstaffed with servers." im like wtf.

This happened to me at Tropical Smoothie. Got trained for 3 days then ghosted, the manager was knit picking everything I did. Trying to little girl me and micromanage everything. Then they tried to not pay me for my training time. Like get it together

I got fired from a job after 3 days because I wasn't fast enough and I "wasn't smiley enough" (actually what they said), but I wasn't even properly trained. my first day the manager walked with me up to the person who was supposed to train me, told him he was training me, and my trainer dead serious said "no I'm not". then the manager was surprised when I didn't know anything 😞
