I had assumed that using a discredited economic strategy was just a desperate Hail Mary to try to fix the financial mess the Boomers made. This makes more sense. They never intended to fix anything, but they are good at transferring wealth from their kids and grandkids to themselves. I guess the $40T of our money they blew wasn’t enough.

I work in retail purchasing. All of our suppliers raised their prices 30-50%. In turn, so did we. The consumers paid.
