If anyone needs a pick-me up: in Ellerbe NC there is a museum near where Andre the Giant’s cattle ranch used to be. They actually donated a bunch of his stuff to the museum for the town. It is amazing, and the rest of the museum is a top quality natural history museum.

I'm a teacher. We started the school year with an announcement that TN passed a bill that students in every grade must be taught about July 4th and the harms done by communism. We're not in school on July 4th, and students already had to learn about the American Revolution in 3 required classes before the bill.
