I'm glad for those who actually cut back on it or dropped it. but, I think we are missing something here. sex is good in marriage, outside it's frowned upon. same like everything, all is good if certain factors are met. if you are addicted to a substance, instead of blaming the substance, rather look within and find out why you are abusing it. it's like the bully theory, something is abusive towards you so you are abusive to something else. these things are emotion enhancers. so if your mindset is bad, it amplifies it. vice versa if you feel good it makes you feel better. now I'm not saying start using these substances. rather a fact of making sure you have sunblock before you go to the beach. I know alot of people who climbed out of deep holes thanks to certain substances. it's more about self control rather than the addiction. the problem is it seen as an achievement, did you know that now you are addicted to telling people you are sober, so what changed, nothing, in a literal sense you have not changed, just switched your dopamine product
