Honestly I would give it to my mom, she’s literally the best and is always working so hard to provide for our family despite all challenges thrown her way 🥹🥹, she persevered through things most people would give up on, she makes ends meet with little to nothing with the strong faith of God and always with a smile on her face. I think about my my auntie Khadija back home. Khadija defended my families land and farm in three decades of war, whilst most of the men and younger women left the country. She is a strong matriarch. Even now in ill health, she responsible for a household of 16. She did it with no husband by her side. Before the war, she was a single mother under a socialist government selling “contraband” (cheap goods from her farm), rountinely harrased but preserved. She’s my mums older sister and almost took a bullet when my mum dad (they are step sisters) died and my mums male cousins attempted to take my grandfathers land that my mother inherited. She put her soul in our family and she’s independent. I will always remember her when I think about a strong woman

$500 would mean the world to my MOM. ❤️During medical school, there were so many times I wanted to quit because of the financial strain, but she always told me, “Just keep studying.” I truly wouldn’t have made it without her. She works 12-hour shifts, 7 days a week, to support our family of 5, and it’s still not enough to cover everything. I could never repay her for everything she’s sacrificed for me, but I’d love to give her even a little something back. She deserves it all. ❤️

This is awesome! And my mom, since my dad got diagnosed with stage 4 cancer last year, she’s been primary supporter in our family. This includes paying for my little sisters’ uni tuition (they are twins so 2x). All while still being the most calm and optimistic person I know. She’s my light and deserves the world! I wish I could do more for her!❤️❤️
