Let’s tell the truth: what really made us fall in love with P-Square back then? The choreography! Their first single didn’t really take them to stardom at the time, but when the “Senorita” video came out, the storyline, the energy, and especially the dancing caught everyone’s attention. Suddenly, we started asking, “Who are these guys?” Then came the Get Squared album, with another set of impressive videos a few months later. From there, the rest is history. P-Square had something special because their talents complemented each other so perfectly. Peter brought the dance and performance energy, while Paul brought the musical creativity, and together they created a unique brand. Honestly, if there wasn’t the dancing, I don’t think we would have known P-Square the way we do today. There were so many talented artistes making waves at the time, but P-Square found a way to stand out.

I can bet you Peter wrote this song. One thing I’ve noticed is that most of P-Square’s hit songs that really make you want to dance were written by Peter, while the love songs, like “Ifunanya,” were mostly written by Rudeboy
