mind muscle connection is important so you know if you are working correctly your muscle or others are compensating

Stretched part is proven to be more important in the hypertrophy of calves. There is no clear evidence on it being as beneficial in other muscles... yet? We'll see in time.

the stretch is range of motion which absolutely helps in muscle development. the pump means blood is in the muscles so your working the right ones. mind muscle connection is needed and helps with proper form. being the right kind of sore can mean that the muscle will grow if nutrition is on point. and drops sets are great to get everything out of the muscle you can.

Agree with everything here but one thing to keep in consideration with drop sets. With free weights and poorly designed machines it’s common to not be able to push through another rep even though the muscles themselves feel like they have a bit more to give. Know the difference between simply hitting a sticking point and hitting actual momentary muscular failure. If you hit a sticking point, a drop set can be very useful for actually hitting failure in an efficient manner.

Steven Ruiz :
The inability to establish a strong mind-to-muscle connection often reflects a lack of intentional focus during training. The mind-to-muscle connection is a legitimate neuromuscular phenomenon that enhances motor unit recruitment and helps direct tension to the intended muscle. Cultivating this connection can improve exercise execution, increase training quality, and maximize mechanical tension. The primary stimulus for muscle hypertrophy.

Mind muscle connection isn’t a myth, that’s what actually makes you do your reps correctly, cause you can feel exactly when the targeted muscle is getting used

A drop set is a great way to end a workout and hit failure. Most if the stuff posted here is half-truth at best. Some is just incorrect. Next you’ll be posting full-blown “science based lifting” nonsense.

The first one is jokes more muscle damage means more growth as long as you getting protein and rest

You need MMC to target the muscle you want to grow otherwise you will use other muscles. What actually grow muscle is nutrition and rest. Training is actually breaking the muscle.

nobody said a pump builds more muscle, ppl just like a pump because since it makes your muscles bigger it feeds our ego and its like a little achievement boost and we can pose etc etc

Some muscles do benefit from stretch mediated hypertrofie, the quads, front delt, side delts, hamstrings, pecs, glutes and the gastrocnemius( largest part of the calves)
